3) What data we collect
We collect only what is needed to provide the app’s features.

- Full name
- Mobile number (for OTP verification)

- Speciality/appointment type/doctor name you search for
- Selected time slots, appointment status (booked, rescheduled, cancelled, completed)
- Profile switching details for relatives/dependents (relationship, linked profiles)
- Hospital location/unit selected
- c) Device & Technical Data
- App version, device type/OS, anonymized analytics and crash logs
- Network information (e.g., IP address, time-stamps) for security and troubleshooting
- No card details are collected in-app. Payments are completed at the hospital counter.
4) How we collect data
You provide it directly when you register, verify OTP, search for doctors, and book/reschedule appointments.

From your organization/family when you link or switch to a relative’s profile with proper authorization.
5) Why we use your data (Purposes)

1) Introduction
Welcome to the SHRUC Patient App operated by Symbiosis University Hospital & Research Centre (SUHRC). By registering, logging in, or using this app, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2) Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to register and manage your own account.
- Parents/guardians may create or manage profiles for minors or dependents.
- By creating a profile for a relative, you confirm that you are authorized to do so.
3) Registration & Account
- You agree to provide accurate details such as name, mobile number, email, age, and optional medical information.
- Mobile number verification via OTP is mandatory to activate your account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and any activity under your account.
4) Services Offered
Through the SHRUC Patient App, you may:

- Reschedule or cancel appointments
- Manage profiles for relatives/dependents
- Receive appointment confirmations, reminders, and important notifications
- View hospital service information
Note: Payments for services are made at the hospital counter, not through the app.
5) Your Responsibilities
- Use the app only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
- Provide accurate and updated information.
- Do not misuse the app (e.g., hacking, spreading malware, creating fake accounts, booking without intention to attend).
- Respect hospital policies when attending appointments booked via the app.
6) Appointment Policies
- Appointment booking is subject to doctor/hospital availability.
- SUHRC reserves the right to reschedule or cancel an appointment due to emergencies or doctor unavailability.
- Patients will be notified promptly of any such changes.
- Failure to attend multiple booked appointments without notice may result in account restrictions.
7) Profile Switching (Relatives/Dependents)
When managing profiles for relatives, you must ensure you have consent or legal authority. SUHRC is not liable for disputes arising from unauthorized use of a relative’s profile.
8) Data Privacy
Your personal data is collected and processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy of SUHRC. By using the app, you consent to the collection and use of your data for providing services.
9) Payments
- The app does not collect payment details.
- All payments are processed directly at the hospital counter.
- Receipts and payment confirmations are provided by the hospital.
10) Intellectual Property
All content, design, and features of the SHRUC Patient App are owned by SUHRC or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or commercially exploit the app without prior written consent.
11) Limitation of Liability
- The SHRUC Patient App is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.
- SUHRC is not responsible for technical issues, downtime, or errors beyond its reasonable control.
- SUHRC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from the use of the app.
- Medical advice is provided by qualified doctors during consultations, not by the app itself.
12) Termination
SUHRC may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms or misuse of services. You may discontinue use at any time by uninstalling the app or requesting account deletion.

SUHRC reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be communicated in-app or through reasonable means. Continued use implies acceptance.
14) Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts located in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
